Crisis communication strategy for the city of Neratovice in the event of a chemical accident

The bachelor's thesis focuses on developing a communication strategy and manual for the city of Neratovice in the event of a chemical release from the local company SPOLANA Ltd. The aim of the thesis is to minimize panic and effectively inform the residents of the city about the danger. The thesis is structured into three main parts. The introduction sets the objectives of the thesis and provides motivation for addressing the topic. The theoretical part covers strategic communication, public relations, political communication, trust management, crisis communication, and communication in local governments. The analytical part includes an analysis of the current state through case studies, interviews with authorized individuals, analysis of media outputs, and a questionnaire survey. The practical part focuses on developing a crisis communication strategy, including setting goals, identifying target groups, types of events, and procedures. Furthermore, a crisis communication manual is prepared, and budgetary and other requirements are addressed. The research is based on analysis of specialized literature, basic research on information about Neratovice City and SPOLANA Ltd., interviews with responsible individuals, case studies, and a questionnaire survey among the residents of the city. From village to industrial town - development in the 19th Neratovice and 20 century

The thesis deals with the development of a village later a town called Neratovice in 19th and 20th century, especially with regard to the formation of the chemical industry. The introduction briefly presents the parts of the town and also points out an interesting history of Lobkovice, the part which was up to the 80s of the 19th century more important than Neratovice. After that, the work continues chronologically in a description of life in Neratovice, at first to the end of 19th century and then it elaborates on the period of the two world wars. The next part is fully focused on the expansion of chemistry, in particular it discusses events based in Spolana, the well-known local plant whose existence has undoubtedly influenced and completely changed the image of the town. The paper also includes information about historical monuments and famous personalities that are connected with the town. Marketing communication of Restaurants in a Small City

Running a restaurant in the Czech Republic is not simple. There are many issues regarding gastronomy industry like too much bureaucracy or lack of skilled staff. The Czech Republic is also one of the most competitive countries in Europe in relation to numbers of restaurants per capita. This bachelor thesis is focused on marketing communication of restaurants in a small city called Neratovice. It is a non-tourist city with a lot of people commuting to work or school. Therefore, local restaurants have to reach and take care of a relatively steady clientele. I chose five restaurants from this city. With owners I did semi-structured interviews about their promotions and how they spread a word about their business. I analyzed the results and used them to write this thesis. I use a marketing mix to introduce the topic and describe what it means to run the restaurant. The core of my thesis is last P - promotion. For that reason I use a communication mix as an outline for describing both theoretically and practically communication activities of each restaurant. In conclusion I review individual restaurants and sum up their promotions.

Projekt 0211 Mezinárodní program monitorování aktuální atmosférické depozice prvků se zabývá stanovením distribuce celkového dusíku v mechu Pleurozium schreberi nebo v Scleropodium purum na území ČR. Stanovené obsahy sloučenin dusíku jsou diskutovány s ohledem na faktory, které je mohly ovlivnit. Projekt 0212 Sledování aktuálních, starých a dlouhodobých zátěží území atmosférickými depozicemi pomocí analýz mechu a nadložního humusu analyzuje obsah rtuti v území vymezeném Kralupami, St. Boleslaví, Vrátnem a Horními Počáply. Nejvýznamějším zdrojem znečištění byly potvrzeny Spolana Neratovice a elektrárna Mělník. Byla potvrzena vysoká expoziční zátěž pracovníků i obyvatel. Projekt 0213 Analýzy stopových a ultrastopových prvků v přírodních matricích jako podklad pro posouzení kvality složek ŽP sledovaných území rozvíjí metody rozkladu biologických materiálů obsahujících větší množství křemíku. An analysis of the policy of Neratovice - the possibility of citizens to be participants in decision making in town

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the policy of Neratovice in terms of citizen involvement in decision making in the town. The main goal is to ascertain whether or not the inhabitants of Neratovice are active citizens; i.e. do they exploit the possibilities of participation, or are they rather passive citizens who are uninterested in the town's events, and thus they do not intervene into its policy. This work is also interested in obtaining the underlying causes which affect the activity or lack there of. The thesis analyzes the possibilities of participation in decision making in a town, it represents the problems of Neratovice, and it studies local community activities, such as petition initiatives and projects with citizen involvement. It also focuses on mutual communication between town government and citizens and it proposes its improvement.
